The PANTAROT and COLORACLE cards (portmanteaus of the brand Pantone + tarot, and color + oracle respectively,) are an ongoing card deck and personal project that I ultimately created to express and chronicle my gratitude to everyone who has significantly helped me in my journey as a graphic designer. PANTAROT takes the idea of traditional tarot cards, and turns it into a personal, beautiful, yet cleverly satirical look of the perspectives of the modern graphic designer; by turning the iconic Pantone merchandise of color chips and fan books as not only a tool for color reference, but also as a means for reading into the arcana for fun.
